2025 Scholarship Recipients
On May 2, 2025, we awarded two more scholarships to graduating Nease High School seniors. The recipients of this year’s Griffin Moody Scholarship are Isabelle Mosley and Liam King. Isabelle and Liam were selected after interviewing the six finalists, and while all the finalists were very accomplished in their own right, we were most impressed with Isabelle and Liaml for their overall accomplishments both in and out of school, and their ambitions going forward. As with all of our recipients over the years, we’re confident Griffin would be most pleased with our selection of Isabelle and Liam.
Isabelle Mosley
Isabelle had a great 4 years at Nease. She was in the Communications Academy and excelled in her coursework and a member of the National Honor Society. She also took on many leadership roles. Isabelle was the class president her sophomore, junior and senior year, as well as president of the Student Government Association. She was also Captain of both Varsity sideline (2022-2025) and competition cheer (2021-2025) teams. She was active with Young Life and Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and was also a leader for Link Crew. Outside of school she was an Allstar cheerleader for Zone Cheer. An Athletic Trainer Internship provided by the Nease Athletic Department was instrumental in guiding her to her desired major of kinesiology. Isabelle had 300+ hours of community service and also held several jobs throughout the years as an assistant cheer coach, a private tumbling coach, a summer nanny, and an employee at Nocatee Spray Park.
Isabelle will be attending Appalachian State, majoring in Kinesiology.
